Happy Memorial Day!!!

Well, this was definitely a nice 3-day holiday. There were a few tidbits of drama but they were short-lived and good times surpassed the bad!

Justin got Kels and informed me that he was going to take me back to court because he didn't' think that he should be doing all the driving on his visitation, i.e. he wants me to bring her to him. WTFever!! He actually had the nerve to request me to meet him at the end of his visitation because he was worried he wasn't going to have enough gas to get home...umm, NOT MY PROBLEM! I actually told him that if he were up to date on his child support that maybe I'd have the gas money to drive across town but as it was...I wasn't driving anywhere for him.

But enough of that...soooo we went to the beach on Saturday with Lede and Kayden which was good. Ran into Casey, Vanessa and Misty down there and I was feeling very good about my beach body. I had been working hard over the last few weeks...I would say months but I had a detour  a few months ago and actually backtracked by about 10 pounds....but anywho we had a good time. Not burnt except a slightly red nose. I doused myself with SPF 15 and then 30 later....

Sunday was a day of nothingness which was nice. I tried to make cut out cookies and even bought a rolling pin but that turned into a sticky, doughy flour mishap. Not good but it wasn't too bad to clean up and I threw about half the dough away. The few cookies I did make were awesome though! lol

Monday, we got up and went to Bainbridge to see Deb and Russ and the cousins and had planned on seeing a few more people but it didn't work out like that. We went swimming and such and then headed to my parents house for some burgers and stuff. I played the Wii and bowled for the first time since LA and got 2 strikes, 3 spares and broke 100 so I'm content. I still got it. of course, bowling for real is a whole different ballgame! lol Last time I went, I took Troy and Kate in LA and oh my...I wanted bumper guards because I am MUCH MUCH better on the Wii than for real!! ha!

Well, luckily this week won't be too long or bad. Usually after a shut down there are a lot of start ups but I don't think it will be too bad. I have so many tasks I have started at work that I will be keeping myself busy so time will pass quicker...or at least that's the theory.
