I'm Loving IT!!!!

My weekend consisted of no trips to the ER or psycho ex calls…that’s always a good weekend in my book! I put up the infamous squash and peppers and that was really about it. I did some cooking that was not winning in the eyes of the children but I thought it was good so…partial win in my book again!

FYI: Excessive baking powder in peach cobbler baked in a pan too small yields a mess. I think that is all that needs to be said on that note…

Anywho, I did try something new that I thought was really good even though the kids didn’t like it as much. But instead of making tacos with taco mix, use sloppy joe mix and add corn to the meat/sauce concoction. With a lil cheese and lettuce and they were banging! (Again, to me only… Kate did eat half hers though, i.e. partial win!)

Other than my partial winning cooking adventures…pretty dull weekend. I think I am due for some dull times. Of course with the kids, its never really dull but I’ll rephrase: Drama-Free!!!! I’m loving it!!!!
