Gloves come off with the kiddos!!!

OMG, I was trying to make the kids well check appointments this morning and since their doctor left and joined a practice in Dothan, AL, another pediatric group took over their patients. First of all, their hours begin at 815. I started calling at 815 and kept getting their night voicemail. And on top of not answering the phone the VM states…do not leave a message. That just pissed me off for general purposes and after the 10^th time I called I did leave a pretty ugly message.

Then when they do get the phone, they say that they can’t do any check ups until February. Then that they cannot do all three kids on the same day…not even consecutively. I was hot by this time because my day has been shit already…waking up to my lights on my car killing my battery and having to jump my car off in the cold with a side post battery where I couldn’t get a connection!!!!

So after not being able to budge and having to make 3 separate appointments on 3 separate days, this stupid bitch puts me on hold and someone else comes on the phone stating the same thing. I’m trying to just go ahead and make the appointments and then she starts asking for my address and phone number. I ask them why they didn’t already have this info and she said it didn’t carry over. By this time, I’d been on the phone with these people for 15 minutes and I hadn’t even made the first appointment and I let her know it.

“You can’t answer the phone on time. You’re making it a huge inconvenience not to be able to work with me on the appointments and now you can’t copy some basic information from the file? My kids haven’t even seen these doctors and so they can just go somewhere else.”

This is the very polite version of what really happened FYI…but now I am in search of new pediatrician for the kiddos. Bleh.
