To whom it may concern:
I am trying to find out what I would need to do in order to get a deadbeat dad who's been hiding out in Saucier, MS (while having his mail sent up to his mother's home in Alabaster, AL) brought to justice. I reside in Georgia and have obtained private council and GA CSEO has put their case on hold awaiting the outcome of a contempt action that I have brought forth. I was also notified that AL CSEO in Shelby Co has issued a contempt order and in Houston Co AL, he has a warrant for a criminal non-support which he plead guilty to in Feb 2012 and now owes in excess of $22k, hasn't paid in almost 2 1/2 yrs and has moved across state lines without notification to anyone except to me yet has not faced one consequence.
I contacted the Asst DA in Houston Co. Al and found out that probation had actually reported to the court that he had not been reporting since March of 2012, now understand he was found guilty in Feb 2012. So he reports one time. The judge found out about this and actually issued an order for his probation to be revoked and arrested in OCT 2012! For some reason or another there was no warrant issued. So he said they were going to go ahead and get the warrant, serve him and arrest him in MS, have her extradited back to Houston co and set his cash bond at the amount of child support owed.
The only problem is that they actually won't extradite him unless I pay it and I'm just a single mom trying to make ends meet and I don't have the money to do this. I sent a request to Governor Robert Bentley to allow the extradition and then make him pay it. If arrested, he or his grandma, will get him out he still has to report back to court for hearing to explain why he shouldn't have to serve the year in jail. I have never wished jail on anyone but he has done nothing but dig himself a hole and he's about to fall into it. I have a 5" binder full of documentation of this man's craziness and harassment and GA CSEO can show that he's not paid a dime. He has fallen through the cracks of a society that repeatedly like to say "If you don't pay...these are the repercussions" He has had nothing happen to him.
The law is on my side and I would like it to prevail. I would like order restored and justice to be served.
Please understand I am contacting every elected official in the three states this case involves and I would appreciate a response. This is ridiculous.
